This General Procurement Notice (GPN) updates the first GPN advertised May 8, 2007 in dgMarket and May 14, 2007 in UNDB Online.

The Government of El Salvador (GoES) has received a US$461 million Grant from the Government of the United States of America through the Millennium Challenge Corporation to support a five-year Program. This Grant Agreement, known as an MCC Compact, is focused on reducing poverty through sustainable economic growth and includes three major projects: 1) Connectivity, 2) Productive Development, and 3) Human Development.

The GoES, operating through Fondo del Milenio - El Salvador (FOMILENIO), intends to apply part of the proceeds of the Compact Funds for the procurement of Goods, Works, and Services over the period ending December 2007, in the following categories:
Goods: Vehicles (4WD SUV and Pickups); IT Equipment (software; computers, printers, servers and networking equipment); Central UPS and installation; office Equipment and Furniture; Printing and Publications. Total estimated value: US$ 506,490.
Works: Office Building Remodeling. Total estimated value: US$ 40,000.

Non-Consulting Services: Maintenance of Office Space; Advertising Agency; Insurance, Training and Event Services. Total estimated value: US$ 278,120.
