supervisor is the Office national de l'eau et de l'assainissement de
Djibouti (ONEAD).
6. Object of the contract: Technical assistance contract.
7. Contract description: The aim of the investment programme for liquid
sanitation infrastructure in Djibouti is to rehabilitate the city's main
wastewater collection system by replacing the infrastructure currently out
of service (2 pumping stations, 1 wastewater treatment plant). Under this
contract, technical assistance will be provided for the following: award
of the works contract (assistance with evaluation of companies' tenders,
tenders for design/construction of the discharge system: pipes and pumping
stations, and wastewater treatment plant); approval of the construction
plans provided by the firm; management of the execution and monitoring of
the works; acceptance operations, and scheduling, supervision and
coordination.
8. Maximum budget available: EUR 600 000.

11. Legal basis: ACP-EC Cotonou Agreement, signed on 23.6.2000.
Decision No 2/2002 of the ACP-EC Council of Ministers of 7.10.2002

Cotonou Agreement and its Annex.
