The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MINFAL), Government of Pakistan is executing Agribusiness Development and Diversification Project (ADDP) with the financial and technical assistance of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) (Loan No. 2171 – PAK (SF)) with the overall objective to support economic growth and employment generation through agribusiness development. Under the capacity building component of the project, it is envisaged to conduct Training of Trainers for the selected Government Commerce Colleges (GCCs) and Vocational Training Institutes (VTIs). The component is being implemented in collaboration with Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Board (PHDEB).
The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock through the Horticulture Project Unit (HPU), PHDEB invites proposals from trainers/training service providers having demonstrated experience in running similar activities to implement the ToT in the following subject areas;
Management Skills Training: (1) School Management Skills (for heads of the selected GCCs and VTIs)
(2) World Trade Organization Regulations (for faculty of selected GCCs)
(3) Export Procedures and Supply Chain Management (for faculty of selected GCCs)
(4) Agribusiness Management (for faculty of selected GCCs)
(5) Technical Skills Training: (1) Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Handling Techniques (for faculty of selected VTIs)
(2) Fruit and Vegetables Processing and Preservation (for faculty of selected VTIs)
The interested trainer(s)/training service provider(s) are required to submit proposal(s) based on the detailed Terms of References (ToRs) using standard template developed by the project, which can be obtained by sending an email/fax using the project contact details given below or download it from the website of the ADDP/PHDEB. Separate proposal is required for each ToT.
Your proposal should reach the address given below not later than 15 days from the date of advertisement.
