IDA Grant TFH-015-KH

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the updated General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online on 11 March 2008.

2. The Royal Government of Cambodia has received an IDA Grant TFH-015-KH from International Development Association toward the cost of Health Sector Support Project (HSSP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for the supply of 261,450 Mosquito Bed Nets under ICB Reference Number: CAKH074.

3. The Royal Government of Cambodia, represented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, has appointed Crown Agents as Procurement Agents for selected World Bank funded projects in Cambodia. The Crown Agents, acting for the Health Sector Support Project, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Mosquito Bed Nets

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 70.00. In case bidders are from within Cambodia, the bidding documents can be secured from the address below while for those outside the country the bidding documents can be sent electronically (by e-mail) or by courier if so requested, upon confirmation of payment including courier fee. For local bidders, payment will be made by cash or cashier’s cheque to the address below. For those outside Cambodia, payment will be made by bank telegraphic transfer to the following account:
