VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Information on value of contract

Somerset County Council receives an Area Based Grant from central
government to undertake a range of activities, including a notional
element of 226 000 GBP per year for 3 years for the support of the LINk.
Part of the grant will be needed to enable the Council to fund the
contract and performance management functions and it is expected that this
is likely to be in the region of 10 % of the allocated grant, per year. In
addition, in the 1st year, there will be the cost to the Council of
carrying out the host function until it has passed to the Host
Organisation at the beginning of August under the terms of the contract.
