This requirement is in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quote is N00253-08-T-0251. The NUWC Keyport has a requirement for the following commercial item: Decapsulation System. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 and will be a small business set aside and has a size standard of 500 employees. Offers shall be FOB Destination to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610. The solicitation will be available for download on or around Aug 28, 2008. Contractors shall ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov). A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no paper copies of these RFQ/amendments will be mailed. The RFQ (request for quote) will be posted electronically on the NECO and FED BIZ OPPS websites. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from these websites and to frequently monitor the sites for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to Melissa.burris@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the websites. RFQ (solicitation package) is posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at www.neco.navy.mil and is also available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
