Bids are hereby invited from Contractors who have been registered with the Institute for Construction Training and Development (ICTAD) in the field of Construction of Roads. Bridges and Culverts for the following Grades or above Grades for the year 2008 for the Road Projects mentioned below.
Relevant forms could be obtained from the head office of the Provincial Road Development Authority (W.P.) of the address mentioned below, from 9.00 a.m. to 2.45 p.m. on working days from 25.08.2008 to 05.09.2008. Bidding documents will be issued on production of the receipt obtained from the Deputy General Manager (Finance) of the Authority on the payment of relevant non-refundable tender fee with VAT in respect of each project after filling the said form from the Headquarters' Engineer of Provincial Road Development Authority (W.P.).
The copy of the receipt obtained for the payment made in cash or by way of a bank guarantee or insurance bond for the refundable Bid Deposit, mentioned against each project, should be attached to the duly completed Bidding documents. The insurance bond or bank guarantee should be valid from 2008.09.08 to 2009.01.08
(a) Duly Completed Bidding Documents, as per the given instructions, addressed to the Chairman of the relevant Procurement Committee, should either be sent by registered post, to the Head office of the Provincial Road Development Authority, at the address given below, or deposited in the Tender Box at the Head Office of the Authority. (Bid number relevant to the road should be clearly indicated on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
