Sealed tenders are invited on B-I / B-II Form from the interested contractors / firms / parties for the works as per separate list attached.
(1) The blank tender Forms and other documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned from the 1st day of Publication of tenders in News papers up to 18.10.2008 during office hours on depositing required tender fee shown against each work.
(2) The tenders will be received back on 20.10.2008 at 2.00 (P.M) and will be opened immediately on the same day in the presence of the Committee comprises Executive District Officer (W&S), District Officer, Buildings and Divisional Accounts Officer Buildings Dadu. The contractors and their authorized agents/representatives are requested to be present at the time of opening.
(3) The un-responded tenders or if the undersigned is not available at the Head Quarter the same shall be issued and opened as under: -
Issued & Opened: (i) 22.10.2008 - 23.10.2008
(ii) 27.10.2008 - 28.10.2008
(iii) 01.11.2008 - 03.11.2008
(4) The contractors should produce call deposit as earnest money in the name of undersigned.
(5) No cheque will be entertained at along with application as earnest money. The amount of Call deposit and tender fee is shown in the tenders list against each work.
(6) The Committee for opening of tenders have right reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reason.
(7) Contract documents, estimates, plans and specifications can be seen in the office of the undersigned on any working day during office hours.
(8) The tender Notice (NIT) can be seen on the Sindh Govt. website www.sindh.gov.pk/tenders.htm
(9) Eligibility Condition for Intending Participants are as Under: -
(i) Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant field of specialization of work and to the extent of Tenders amount of each work.
(ii) Bio data of Engineer and Tenders staff working with due the Contractor(s) Firm.
(iii) Documentary evidence of works executed/ works in progress and Certificate of satisfactory completion of works by the employers.
(iv) List of works in progress including cost of cash work and copy of letter of award of the work(s).
(v) List of Machinery and Equipment available with documentary evidence of its ownership. Certificate of Bank showing credit worthiness along with Bank statement.
(10) Registration with Income Tax Department (copy of NTN Certificate) and copy of CNIC.
(11) Under Taking on Legal Affidavit worth Rs.100/00 that firm is not involved in any Litigation or abandoned any work in the Department.
(12) Affidavit to the effect that the Firm/ Contractor (s), have not been black listed previously by any executing agency.
(13) Legal Affidavit (on Oath), with effect/ reason that all the Documents / Particulars/ information on this legal Affidavit (on Oath), furnished as mentioned on this are True & Correct.
In case of words costing below Rs. 2.50(M) the conditions at S.No.9 will not be applicable.
The terms and conditions of the contract/agreement will become operative upon the contractors as soon as the tenders are accepted.
All the tenders shall be delt as per PPRA rules 2004
