focus on demonstrating the technical feasibility and the safety benefits
of a device to be installed on helicopters, which could measure and/or
calculate low airspeed from any direction and indicate it to the pilot. It
should also provide a reliable warning to the pilot when approaching any
limitation of the helicopter caused by low airspeed, including phenomena
such as vortex ring and loss of tail rotor effectiveness.
