Note: Design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 110kV-27kV, single phase 50 Hz, AC traction substation complete with double circuit 110kV two phase incoming feeder arrangement, two nos. of 110kV-27kV, 30 MVA transformers, two nos. of 25kV single phase incoming feeders and seven nos. of 25kv outgoing feeders arrangement, including foundations, structures and all ancillary equipments at Vadala TSS in CSTM-PNVL section of Central Railway.

Only those firms which in their individual capacity, satisfy the following eligibility criteria, need to quote for this tender - For Joint Venture firms, please refer Note-1 below.
a) Total contract amount received during the last three financial years and current financial year i.e. up to the date of opening of tender, should be a minimum of 150 percent of the advertised tender value of the work.
b) Should have completed in the three financial years i.e. current year and three previous financial years at least one similar single work for a minimum value of 35 percent of advertised tender value of the work.
Note: 1) For Joint Venture Firms, the criteria for eligibility will be as per the -Guidelines for participation of joint venture firms in works tenders as issued by Railway Board vide letter no. 2002.CE-1.CT.37 dated 02.09.2008. These guide lines have been reproduced in the tender documents at Part-I, Chapter-I, Para-1.1.17.
2) For criterion- a, tenderer should submit audited balance sheet duly certified by the Chartered Accountant.
3) For criterion -b, tenderer should submit completion certificates issued by the concerned executive. Similar work completed- would mean having satisfactorily executed the single work of requisite value in the qualifying period specified in criterion -b above. As regards -Similar Work, the Tenderer should have satisfactorily executed and carried out the Works of traction substation of 66kV-25kV, 110kV-25kV, 132kV-25kV, 220kV-25kV for Railway or 66kV-132kV/ 110kV-220kV or higher voltage Grid substation for SEBs or Power Grid Corporation involving design, foundation, supply of equipments, material, fittings, gantry structure, equipment erection, strung bus, protection system testing and commissioning.
The contractor should have requisite experience in execution of Civil Engineering works or should have a prior tie-up with the sub-contractor having valid license for execution of civil works. Documentary evidence in this regard should be attached with the offer. Failure in this regard may lead to rejection of offer.
