(1) The tender shall be based on Particular Specifications, General Conditions of Contract based on IAFW-1815(R) & IAFW-1815 (Z), where tenderers are required to quote rates in Schedule "A" (List of works) to be priced by the tenderers.
(2) The work is to run for a period of 120 days without reference to total cost of work, commencing from the date as given in the work orders as per the phasing indicated in the tender documents and work order will be placed immediately after acceptance of tender
(3) The Chief Engineer (P) Pushpak, C/O 99 APO will be Accepting Officer hereinafter, referred to as such for the purpose of this contract.
(4) Application for issue of tender documents must be submitted to Chief Engineer (P) Pushpak, C/O 99 APO, so as to reach this office on or before 27 Nov 2008 (Twenty seven November two thousand eight). Applicants must attach with their applications, copy of PAN card, copy of enlistment letter, particulars of financial and technical resources, list of similar works executed by them during last three years and similar works in hand indicating the designation of officers under whom such works were executed/being executed.
(5) Applicants must attach along with their applications, cost of the tender documents Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft from State Bank India in favour of the Chief Engineer, Project Pushpak, C/O 99 APO payable at SBI Bawngkawn, Mizoram code No. 7059. No cash payment is acceptable. Applications without enclosed with the cost of tender documents shall not be entertained. Cost of tender documents shall be returned in case tender form is not issued to applicant.
(6) Tender documents and conditions of contract and other necessary documents (together with self addressed envelope to be used for return of tender documents) will be issued on or after bet 1000 Hrs to 1100 Hrs on 29 Nov 2008 (Between 1000 Hrs to 1100 Hrs on Twenty nine November two thousand eight) to selected/approved contractors.
(7) Tenders duly sealed will be received at the Office of the Chief Engineer (P) Pushpak C/O 99 APO upto 1200 hrs on 29 Nov 2008 (1200 Hrs on Twenty nine November two thousand eight) and opened immediately after the time indicated here in before.
(8) The tenderer are advised to visit the site by making prior appointment with Officer Commanding 115 RCC and Commander 36 Border Roads Task Force, C/o 99 APO sufficiently in advance. A tenderer shall be deemed to have full knowledge of all relevant documents, local conditions, sites etc. For further details tenderer may contact telephonically if required the Commander of 36 TF at 03842-236017 or SW Project Pushpak at 0389-2351424 during office hours.
(9) Not more than one tender shall be submitted by one contractor or one firm of contractors. Under no circumstances will a father or his son(s) or other close relatives who have business dealings with one another, be allowed to tender for the same contract as separate competitors. A breach of this condition will render the tenders of both the parties liable to rejection.
