The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area is soliciting competitive proposals for a contractor to provide complete water treatment services at the Salt Lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The contract period of performance for the base year is from 01/01/09 through 9/30/09 with four option year periods from 10/01 through 9/30 for each option follow-on year. The total estimated dollar value for this contract is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 A tiered evaluation of offers will be used in source selection for this contract, and offers from other-than small business concerns will only be considered after the determination that an insufficient number of offers from responsible small business concerns were received. See Section M for details. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 221310 (Water Treatment and Distribution). For this NAICS code a small business is defined as a size standard with a maximum size standard of $7 million. A site visit of the ARTCC is not required.
