INTERNATIONAL TENDER NOTICE N°113/F/2008-I/UGP GF/ RCC MALARIA/RPPA
Title: SUPPLY OF THIRTY AMBULANCES
1. .The MAP and Global Fund Projects Management Unit (hereinafter called ‘’Client”) has received funds from the Global Fund towards the cost of « TOWARDS UNIVERSAL ACCESS TO INTEGRATED HIV AIDS SERVICES IN RWANDA R7 PROJECT». The client intends to use a part of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Bidding Document is issued.

2. The Rwanda Public Procurement Authority (RPPA) in collaboration with The MAP and Global Fund Projects Management Unit in hereby invite qualified bidders to submit their offers for the Supply of Thirty ambulances as indicated in detail in the statement of Requirements.

3. The tender Documents in English and French may be obtained from the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority upon presentation of payment proof of a non-refundable fee of twenty thousand Rwanda Francs (20 000 RWF) to the Account N° 120.00.61 “NTB Produits et ventes diverses” opened at the National Bank of Rwanda P.O.BOX 531 Tel : (250) 572551. The tender Documents may be obtained on any working day from Rwanda Public Procurement Authority P.O. Box 4276, Avenue de la Paix, Kigali Rwanda, Tel:(250) 501403 /501404/501405, Fax : (250) 501402, from November 18th 2008

4. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee of six million Rwanda francs (6 000 000 RWF) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency issued by a Bank or any other registered financial institution.

5. Enquiries regarding this tender may be addressed to the Director of Rwanda Public Procurement Authority to the above mentioned address not later than 21 days before the deadline of bid’s submission

6. Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in four copies one of which is the original must reach Rwanda Public Procurement Authority at the above mentioned address. not later than 06th January 2008 at 09 h 00 prompt, local time i.e. 07 h 00 GMT. Late bids will be rejected.

7. Bids will be opened on the same day at 10 h 00 prompt, local time i.e. 08 h 00 GMT in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend at Rwanda Public Procurement Authority conference room.

8. The outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender number and title of the tender

9. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Law N° 12/2007 of 27/03/2007 on Public Procurement
