ONSITE SERVICE MAINTENANCE OF ULTRAVIOLET/OXIDATION SYSEM The Contracting and Purchasing Office, Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow California is soliciting sources to provide labor and materials to perform annual onsite maintenance of the Ultraviolet/Oxidation system (UVOX) at the Industrial Waste Treatment and Recycling Facility (IWTRF) located at Building 608 MCLB Yermo Annex in Barstow California for the period of one year 01 December 2008 through 30 September 2009 (base year) with option to extend two additional one year periods. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238220 and business size standard is $13 million. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
