Tier 2 Complex Water Budget & Water Quantity Stress Assessment

The North Bay - Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) requires the assistance of a qualified consulting firm to conduct a Tier 2 Water Budget and Stress Assessment and a Tier 3 Water Quantity Risk Assessment for the Trout Lake subwatershed supplying the City of North Bay's municipal drinking water system. The successful firm will complete the Tier 2 and Tier 3 Assessments in accordance with the Ministry of the Environment’s Clean Water Act, 2006 Technical Rules: Assessment Report. It is understood that proposals will need to be prepared
based on the Consultation Draft, June 2008 of the Technical Rules but the Assessments will have to meet the requirements specified in the Rules as established. Release of the Rules is anticipated in early November 2008 which would be prior to the start-up meeting (see Task 1 below). The work will be performed under the direction of the North Bay - Mattawa Conservation
Authority.
