PLUMBING AND HEATING SERVICES
AT PACIFIC BIOLOGICAL STATION, NANAIMO, BC

A mandatory site visit will be conducted at the Pacific Biological Station on Wednesday December 10, 2008.

Contractor’s employees working on site must:

1. Have current Trades Qualification Certificate for journeyman sheetmetal, plumbing, pipefitting and a minimum “B” gasfitting license/certification.
2. Have Backflow Prevention Maintenance qualifications.
3. Qualified to perform the annual inspections on the fire sprinkler lines and systems.
4. Have verifiable maintenance experience in:
a. pipefitting
b. acid waste systems
c. sprinkler systems
d. distilled water systems
e. domestic water and waste systems
f. pumping systems
g. sumps and sanitary waste systems
h. hot water heating systems
i. aquaculture process piping systems
j. sheet metal fabrication for ventilation systems
k. natural gas and electric heating systems
