Applications are invited from suppliers, business concerns, producers and Cooperative Societies to be registered as suppliers for supply of the under mentioned goods and services for the year 2009, to the District Secretariat Retnapura and all Divisional Secretariats. Applications can be obtained from this office and the cover containing the application for registrations should be marked "Registration of Suppliers for year 2009" and should be addressed to the District Secretariat Office, Ratnapura to be received on or before 15.12.2008 at 2.00 p.m.
Conditions: (1)A registration fee of Rs. 200/- should be paid for each of the items except applications for construction and repair works. Though a single application can be used to apply for several supplies / services that should contain the relevant fees
Applications can be collected on the submission of the receipt for paying cash to the District Secretariat, Ratnapura. A self addressed stamped envelope along with a Cheque for Rs. 200/- for each item written in the name of the District Secretary, Ratnapura, should be sent by applicants who desire to obtain applications by post. (2) Normally only the registered suppliers are requested to submit quotations for the supply of goods and services. However the Secretariat reserves the right to either call quotations or make purchases from non-registered applicants when there’s an inadequate number of a supplier or any other reasons that could arise. (3) The District Secretary reserves the right to inquire and accept any applications. Suppliers already registered should also re-apply for registration for year 2009.
