for Transuranium Elements of the European Commission is using 4 thermal
ionisation mass spectrometers (TIMS) Finnigan MAT 26X and 1 Triton for
routine uranium and plutonium isotope ratio measurements. 2 of these
instruments are located in the on-site laboratory at Sellafield, United
Kingdom (OSL), 1 is located in the on-site laboratory at La Hague, France
(LSS), and 1 MAT 262 and 1 Triton are installed at the ITU in Karlsruhe,
Germany. For each individual measurement a Re double filament holder, a W
double filament holder and an extraction plate are necessary to perform
the analysis.
